Dharth – Meditation Timer for iOS
How do I record during a session?
Dharth automatically records when it detects your voice. Simply speak during your session and the app will capture it. You can review and transcribe the recording afterward.
Why is my transcript empty or incomplete?
Transcription uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. If results are incomplete, try speaking more clearly and reducing background noise. You can retranscribe any session from the review screen.
How do I enable speech recognition?
Go to Settings > Dharth on your device and enable Speech Recognition. The app will prompt you to do this when you first try to transcribe.
What does the calibration step do?
Before each session, Dharth listens briefly to measure ambient noise levels. This helps it distinguish your voice from background sound so it only records when you speak.
What do the bell options mean?
You can choose to have no bell, a bell at the beginning and end, a bell at the halfway point, or bells dividing the session into thirds. The bell helps mark intervals during your meditation.
Where is my data stored?
All audio, transcripts, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to any server. Deleting a session removes its data permanently. Uninstalling the app removes everything.
How do I delete a session?
From the Sessions list, tap the trash icon next to any session. You can also delete from the session review screen. A confirmation prompt will appear before deletion.
