Dharth ("the App") is a meditation timer for iOS developed by Elektrodactyl. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

None. Dharth does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. The App operates entirely on your device.

On-Device Data

The App creates and stores the following data locally on your device:

Audio recordings of your meditation sessions, saved only when you choose to record.
Transcripts generated from your recordings using Apple's on-device speech recognition. Transcription is performed entirely on your device and no audio or text is sent to any server.
Session metadata such as duration and date, stored in your device's local app storage.
Preferences such as your chosen session duration and bell mode, stored using on-device storage.

You can delete any session's audio and transcript at any time from within the App. Uninstalling the App removes all stored data.

Permissions

The App requests the following permissions, which you can revoke at any time in iOS Settings:

Microphone – used to record audio during meditation sessions.
Speech Recognition – used to transcribe recordings on-device.

Third-Party Services

Dharth does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children. Since no personal data is collected from any user, there is no age-specific concern.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
